This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit our website www.amadeo.com or contact us, why we do so, and what rights you have.

Our website is hosted by Webflow, Inc. (USA). Webflow receives your IP address, browser and device details, the page requested and the time, and processes them in the USA on our behalf and for its own security and traffic counting. Its sub-processors include Cloudflare, which delivers the pages: Webflow's list of sub-processors. Fastly, Inc. (USA) delivers the fonts and receives your IP address for this. Cloudflare sets the cookie _cfuvid to limit excessive requests; it is deleted when you close your browser.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure and working website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Webflow, Cloudflare and Fastly are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
We store information in your browser, or read it from there, only where this is strictly necessary for the website, or with your consent (§ 165 (3) TKG 2021). We ask for your consent with Cookiebot, a service of Usercentrics A/S, Havnegade 39, 1058 Copenhagen K, Denmark, which runs on servers in the EU.
Your choice is stored in your browser in the cookie CookieConsent for up to 12 months. As proof, Cookiebot keeps a record of your consent for 12 months: a random consent ID, the date and time, your choice, the page address, your browser's details and the first half of your IP address. Legal basis: our duty to ask for consent and to prove it (Art. 6 (1) (c) and Art. 7 (1) GDPR, § 165 (3) TKG 2021).
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the round icon at the bottom left of every page, or with the change and withdraw links in the full cookie list below. A withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.

If you allow "Statistics", we use Google Analytics 4 to see how our website is used: pages viewed, time on page, region and device. Google Analytics sets two cookies, _ga (a random visitor ID) and _ga_E4WGVH5YEL (your current visit), each kept for up to 2 years after your last visit. Google receives your IP address, uses it only to derive your region and does not store it. Google deletes the detailed data after 2 months (single events) and 14 months (visitor data; each new visit restarts the 14 months).
Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, on our behalf. Google LLC (USA) may also process the data; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 165 (3) TKG 2021). Without it, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
If you also allow "Marketing", Google Analytics uses Google Signals: for visitors who are signed in to a Google account and have allowed personalized ads, Google adds age group, interests and cross-device information to our reports; for this, Google may use its advertising cookies together with the Google Analytics cookies. We see only summarized reports, never individual persons. Google combines this with data from those Google accounts. You can turn off personalized ads in your Google account at any time: My Ad Center.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 165 (3) TKG 2021). Provider, transfer and retention: as for Google Analytics.
When you send our contact form, we receive your name, phone number and email address (required) and your message. We use them only to answer your inquiry. Webflow stores your message in the USA on our behalf and sends it to our mailbox, which is hosted by Microsoft (data stored in the EU).
Spam protection: as soon as the contact page opens, Webflow's bot check, Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc., USA), checks in the background that a person and not a program is using the form. It processes your IP address and technical details of your browser and connection, and stores the item cf.turnstile.u in your browser. Cloudflare also uses these data, under its own responsibility, to improve its bot detection: Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum.
Legal basis: steps before a contract at your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR), or our legitimate interest in answering inquiries and in keeping the form free of spam (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR); the bot check's item is strictly necessary for sending the form (§ 165 (3) TKG 2021).
Retention: we delete inquiries after 12 months, unless a contract follows; then the statutory retention periods apply (7 years for business records).
Our pricing page has two quote forms. When you send one, your browser sends your details (property name, contact name, email address, the figures and options you enter, and the calculated prices) directly to EmailJS (EmailJS Pte. Ltd., Singapore; servers of Amazon Web Services in the USA), which on our behalf sends the quote by email from our address sales@amadeo.com to the email address you entered; we keep a copy in our mailbox (see Contact form). EmailJS keeps a copy of each request for 30 days. The transfer is covered by the EU standard contractual clauses; you can get a copy from us.
Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA): Google's script is loaded only when you tick "Allow spam protection by Google reCAPTCHA" above the button. Google then receives your IP address and data about your device and browser, and stores items in your browser, among them the cookie _GRECAPTCHA (6 months). Google acts on our behalf and may process the data in the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. A quote can be sent only with the tick. You can withdraw your consent by unticking: Google's box is then hidden and reset; Google's script, once loaded, stays on the page until you leave it, and its cookie stays until it expires or you delete it.
Legal basis: your request for a quote (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR); for reCAPTCHA, your consent by the tick (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 165 (3) TKG 2021). Retention: as for the contact form.
Our shop page shows live prices and keeps your cart at Shopify (Shopify International Limited, Ireland); for this your browser sends your IP address to Shopify, and no cookie is set (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). The system you put together stays in your browser (cookie list: amadeo-shop-builder). "Check out" opens Shopify's checkout, where the shop's privacy policy applies.
If you email or call us, we use your details to answer you. Legal basis, storage and retention: as for the contact form.
Our website links to our company pages on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. These are plain links: nothing is sent to the platforms before you click. On the platforms, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Facebook, Instagram) and LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company process your data under their own privacy policies; they also decide how long they keep them. For the statistics that Facebook and LinkedIn give us about visits to our pages ("page insights"), we are jointly responsible with Meta and LinkedIn: Meta's agreement, LinkedIn's agreement. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in presenting our company (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Where this policy names no period, the provider keeps the data only as long as it needs them for the purpose described.
You have the right to access your data, to have them corrected or deleted, to restrict their processing and to receive them in a common format (Art. 15 to 18 and 20 GDPR). You can withdraw a consent at any time, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). Please write to info@amadeo.com.
You can complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb@dsb.gv.at) or to the supervisory authority in your EU country.
Where we process your data based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR); please write to info@amadeo.com. We then stop, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or need the data to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
You do not have to give us any data, but we cannot answer a form sent without its required fields.
